Hey welcome! Sn's are awesome cars man. Glad to see you're wanting one. But yes, more details please on what you are specifically looking for in a car and we can definitely point you in the right direction.

Long story short (leaving v6s out of this)

94/95s are perfectly fine to get. Great cars. Still have the 302, which opens a world of mods up. IMO if you are going to mod a 94/95 don't get a Cobra. Only because pretty much everything except brakes and the front bumper will be replaced if you are into modding.

96-98s are also great cars although they are a whole different ballgame. The Gt's run a SOHC 4.6 which from the factory is needing some improvement. They run generally about like a stock 94/95 GT. The Gt's have a large aftermarket available for them. The Cobra's from these years are a DOHC 4.6 and make the power power in stock form. Although, the aftermarket options that are available are slim to none for a lot of things such as heads/intakes.

With that being said. You really can't go wrong with any car from these years if you know what to do with it. Which of course. Is why I'm assuming you joined us anyway! haha.

Let's see the corolla!

Welcome ! We love new members from different parts of the world...glad you like our cars!

Ok...there is absolutely nothing wrong with the SN95 cars in years 94 & 95...the last of the pushrod 302's, They are well proven & the engines last for 200,000 miles to over 300,000 miles. I am approaching 200k on mine & it runs perfect so don't be afraid of those years. The main difference I encounter is that their computer is specific to those 2 years so it is harder to find tuning shops that are good with them. the 96-98 years with the 4.6 engine is a bit easier to find, but that engine is a bit more technical to work on & some parts not as plentiful. So each has a few things to be aware of. Nothing really difficult to overcome just be advised.

The 302(5.0) has tons of aftermarket heads, cams, intakes etc. and would be a blast for you to work on yourself. You could always learn to tune the ECU yourself which would be a great way to go...no worries about a speed shop in Iceland for tuning & you are independent then. Read up all you can on the tech articles here & elsewhere...ask lotsa of questions & have fun!

Sweet man.
GL on your search, good advice in the posts above.
You should be able to find one with a few mods.
There's also plenty of technical and mod info On the forums, should help you get a good idea of the direction you want to go.

Thanks for the advises and if i were you shifty powers i would never move to iceland the gasoline is waaayy to expensive and if you want your car rust free you gotta keep it in the garage during the winter and that like six months. And i think i wanna go for the 94 but i was thinking can you put the tail lights from the 98 on a 94 can you?

I was wondering my friend just bought a stock 1995 Toyota Celica Gt. A 1994 Mustang Gt would destroy the celica in a race am i right?
