HELP!!...Brake Distribution Block..where to buy??????

i have a 95 GT, I just noticed my brake disribution block or proportioning valve if you wish to call it, is leaking bad. I've even checked all fittings, there all secure. I went to NAPA to pick one up, they tell me it's a dealer part..so i head to the ford dealership, parts guy shows me that the part is obselete. Does anyone have a clue as to where i can pick one of these things up "new"..I'd go to the local junkyard but I'm not gonna go on "hope" that the used piece works...any input would be great!!

Is it the same as a foxbody one I wonder? If so, I have a spare.

Well I do know it looks exactly the same..but the '95 had rear discs..I'm not sure if that makes a difference or if the threads/fitting size is the same..looks like I'm gonna have to rebuild it with universal seals and fittings. Kinda sucks that something so simple and important is not sold anywhere for are cars..I've found some places online that have it listed as a metering valve, but when you contact them, they give a long story which sums up to.. "it can't be ordered anymore"
But discs or not, i'm kinda leaning towards the fox valve being the same, cause braking ratio is 70/30..i'll take a stab at rebuilding mine.. but just in case have that fox version ready ..lol

Alright..

Just called up my buddy who has been a Ford Mechanic for about 15 years.

"Rob, tell your buddy that he COULD use it but the rear brakes would be very weak as it takes a lot less power to operate drums than a disc. Wheel cylinders are much smaller then the caliper resevoir behind a piston, from a fluid capacity stand point...and thus requires a smaller amount of pressure to operate because there is a smaller amount of fluid."

what about using one from a newer model 96-03??
