Since I traded my DD beater in for cash for clunkers i now need another DD style beater. I'm thinking of spending about $2-4k max.
I was thinking of a 4.6 mid 90's Tbird or maybe a Fox or 5.0 SN95...

Some of you guys browse ebay and craigslist like crack addicts so if you come across something post it up for my viewing pleasure :)

withing 100-200 miles of 08043 also....

One thing you could look for is a fox SVO, kinda fun/quick and still get good gas mileage. Every so often I see them for sale in the 2-4k range (some peaple get ridiculous with prices). Not in perfect condition but good for what you want it for.

I was just looking at an SVO, too far away or i'd buy it.... right in my price range too! I think i'm gonna go pick up a Mustang Trader... i've searched everywhere online and nothing cheap enough.

mid 90s tbirds are good but don't get a v6 unless you want to do a head job eventually.

what is your criteria for the new DD?

Ford, under 4k
If its a Mustang prefer a 5sp
Everything else can be auto.

So far i'm considering 96/97 4.6 T-birds
Fox Mustangs
5.0 SN95s
Gen 1 Lightnings.

Oh okay, i was going to select some imports that sip gas, but i can see you don't really care about gas mileage lol

Yeah i don't have to drive very far, on long trips i'd drive the new Escape.

I might even just drive the Mustang and buy some new stuff for it... i can't decide.

I had a Subaru for a few months and after having AWD in the winter it really spoils you, when i get rid of the IS300 i want to go back to something AWD for sure.

Get a little ranger.

Good mileage, cheap and plentiful, fairly cheap to fix, and you've always got a bed if you need to haul something.
