Hi everyone

I have a 95 GT. I just bought a new motor for it. I got a DSS Racing 331 Block with Forged internals and a Trick Flow Top end kit. I was planing on Painting the raised lettering on the top of the intake and the valve covers to match the car. I tried tapping the intake off and cutting the letters out but the tap will not stick to the powder coat. Someone has told me to take a stiff foam roller and roll lightly across the top of the letters.

Any ideas.

Thanks

if the lettering is raised just use a brush and be carefull and take your time. Keep a rag with some paint thinner nearby for cleaning up small sections but I did the same thing on my cobra intake with just a bottle of touch up paint and the brush that it comes with. Didn't take all that long and looks great.

yes scott has it down.... i hand painted my edelbrock intake because mine has raised letters as well and i wanted to spice it up a bit... like he said take your time and be very careful, and keep paint thinner handy... i cleared mine so it would stand out more but this process took me about 2hrs, i did my upper and lower
