Help with A/C vents

My v6 recently started switching straight to windshield when I turn on AC or vent. I van still switch it to defrost and floor at the same time or just floor but I can not get it to blow out of the dash vents. Any ideas? PS It's hot outside lol

Pop the hood. On the passenger side firewall you will see the heater core hoses go in/out and with them there will be a small vac line that goes across the back of the motor to the vac tree. That line is probably broken

its a common problem and an easy fix.

dont mean to hijack but my problem is that the vents blow air only when i switch the ac on before i start the car. otherwise, it just blows air at my feet. whats that all a boot?

I think something is getting stuck because that little trick doesn't work all the time....
