94 cobra stock long block, f303cam, tmoss ported lower, v3 vortech 12 psi, powerpipe, shorty headers, full exhaust, 39# injectors, 340 pump, Prom 80maf.

ive been tuning my cobra, and my maf is pegging at 5k rpms so im gonna upgrade that to a sctba2600 which should be good. but i noticed that my inj duty cyle at 4900 rpms and up is 90-93%. would 42s be a worth while upgrade to be safe or should i go larger? im not planning on upgrading the engine anymore.

using quarterhorse with binary editor and eec analyzer

Ideally you want to max the injectors at 80%. .93 x 39=36.27 lbs/hr. 42 x .8=33.6. So 42s are coming up short. I would go to the next available larger size. Better to be on the high side.

60's.

the Cobra 39#ers flow almost the same as 42# green tops.
