Ok I will try that first, I also just got back from autozone and found they do sell our CCRMs so I can get one there if that is the case, but I am hoping its just a bad dizzzy replacement. Im not sure about that check engine light though.

you bought a dizzy from autozone thats a risky move. Anything electrical is crap from them. However it does sound like HGs mine did the same thing when they went except I had fluid coming out of the over flow because it was creating that much pressure.

Ok so I just switched out the dizzy with another new one, no result, it still only cranks and the pump will not prime still. I also just rechecked my fuses it turns out my eec fuse was blown, its one of the big 20s in the engine bay. I tried to put a new one in and as soon as it touched it popped so something is causing that fuse to constantly blow out? Anyone have any idea what could be doing that?

I havent checked the wires at the starter yet, the grounds that I see I have checked im not sure which other ones there are. I checked the one on the front of the block, and on the motor mount, I also checked my fuse panels the EEC fuse keeps blowing so I am going to test it now with a power probe.

Ok so I just tested my ccrm it is getting power into the ccrm and power is coming out of it so I believe that means that the ccrm is good still. And power is getting to the fuses as well, however when I put a fuse into the eec fuse port it blows, so I am assuming by this point I have to have a short somewhere I dont know where to start on checking for that though. Is there anyway that the starter could be causing this problem if one of the wires on it is loose or arching or shorting out? I dont know if the starter is on that same circuit though? Any ideas?

there is a ground on the eec harness that bolts to the body what you have to do is on the pass side kick panel remove it and lift back the carpet. look towards the front and you'll see 2 wires connected to the chasis. check those power w/ probe if there fine call ford tech 800- ford-788 good luck dont give up on stangs yet

Did you disconnect the computer when you pulled the engine?
If you did, look for bent pins inside the connector.
If you didn't, look under the hood for a pinched wire or a bent pin inside the connectors under the hood.
Electrical probs can be a PITA. good luck

I didn't unhook the computer when I pulled out the engine just unhooked the things from the engine its self to get it out.

Ok so I found something interesting just now. So I borrowed my friends ccrm just now to try just incase mine was in someway bad. I put it on and then put new fuses in and it did not blow them, however I went to crank it over and still no fuel pump sound and it just cranks. So I put my ccrm back and tried cranking it and now it did not blow out my fuse, I cranked it several times and it did not blow the fuse once.

So by this point I just went back to check lighting everything, now this is where it got interesting.

Son on the lower intake on the passenger side we have those black metal tubes that run along the side of it the one has a tube going from the water pump I believe it is for the heater or something and the other mounts to the front of the lower intake and has that threaded fitting that has a connector with two wires going into it I think this one is for the fan or is a temp sensor? Anyways I unplugged that sensor to test it and when I did I could hear a clicking type noise coming from what sounded like the ccrm so I thought that was weird I then notice a small open spot in the insulation on each wire they were very small cuts but you can see bare wire so as I was fiddling with these wires I suddenly heard a pop and sure enough my eec fuse blew once again, so now I am going to tape up those small cuts in the insulation and go by yet another fuse tomorrow, and hopefully that will fix that but I still do not know why my pump is not priming and my car just cranks. Any thoughts? SORRY ABOUT THE LENGTH OF THIS POST

The fuel pump fuse is good to go, and I had someone turn the key over and I was listening and there is no sound, I have no idea whats going on.
