Ok, well having a girlfriend is bad when your trying to mod your car.

I was about to order some lowering springs, but than she wanted to go out and now i cant :crybaby2: :angry4:

So, i started with some cheap senseless mods :

8-inch Fixed Black Antenna

:headbang:

Mustang GT License plate frames

Door Lock Pull up thingies (non bullet stuff because i dont like it really).. not sure if im ordering these but i think so:
6

and last but not least. Re-adding my mac catback. Tired of looking like a v6 for the ass end with a GT bumper:

I told my girlfriend to f**k off next week because im ordering the springs and getting my clutch looked at probably. She already had 2 good weeks because of me and i had about 3532523 good weeks so its time to be selfish and fix up the car :angel4:

With that said.. can you please post some nice interior pictures of your ride.

Well in that case here's mine. I've put in a FR500 steering wheel and bullits pedals, which changes the look a lot, but here it was a few months ago. In the pics I've got my 01 Cobra seats, whiteface gauges, LEDs (not that you can see it but whatever), and removed the seat belt holders. Plan on changing the shiftknob and boot and I'm done on the inside.

Oh and don't bother buying that shorty antenna, you can make your own. Pop the ball off the end, cut it down, and repaint.

^Ya gotta love the FR500 steering wheel. I see it's still going for $239 too. I was lucky, my wife ordered mine for me (for X-mas) back in November for $169. Couldn't believe the price jump after New Years!! Geeeeez.

I know, my mom bought mine for Xmas too at $169. Doubt I'd have one if it was $239 then.

Just received the tailpipe support hanger pins and will recieve the rubber tailpipe hangers tomorrow. So, tailpipes are going back on asap tomorrow.

The shorty antenna has been shipped.

Im trying to decide weither to spend my next week check on the pi intake kit for $500 or some springs. And no i will not buy a pi intake and use RTV. Why? Because someone will install this kit at there garage and i dont want them screwing up things and having me stranded so i will buy the complete kit for $500 and save me troubles and them with a 100 percent hot swappable kit. :nono:

1 week of work for me so i should buy it when i atleast have 3 weeks saved up as i need someone to install

Finally, a kit that allows the P.I. manifold to bolt on to the 96-98 4.6L Ford 2-Valve modular engine. The new kit uses specialized adapter plates, a modified intake manifold (un-modified manifold will not clear stock hood), and gaskets to make it a direct bolt on with limited alterations. The kit is packaged so well that it will allow the use of a stock hood and strut tower brace. During testing we have seen as much as 35 rear wheel horsepower on a stock application. Tuning may be required due to the increase of airflow from the Non-PI Intake manifold.

The kit consists of (2) Adapter Plates, a modified PI Intake Manifold, PI Intake Gaskets, all Hardware (Bolts, New Coolant Tube, Coolant Tube Fitting, Heater Hose and Alternator Spacers), and detailed instructions.

OK for future reference:

1) Kids (take care of them first)
2) Mustang (if no kids then first priority)
3) House
4) Girlfriend

Thats how you spread the wealth!
Now if the Girlfriend becomes the Wife she then can be swapped with 3 if you so choose.

werent you the one that said you practically neglected your car completely because you have no money? shouldnt you get the problems fixed before you put stuff on the car that isnt necessary like lowering springs and a PI swap?

P.S. why does your decklid have two Ford emblems on it?

This week I spent my money on a new helmet for the track and picked up another dirtbike just because it was on clearance (say I bought it for the daughter so she can go riding with us but no one believes that story) so I am still putting pennies together to get anything for the car

My interior is stock except for removed seat belt loops, a Pioneer head unit, Sirius reciever and a red/black shift knob. In other words nothing worth sharing pics of.

I did the antenna mod myself as well, shortened and painted gloss black.

Well my rear end is okay.
The clutch will get looked @ soon.

The pi intake itch only came up when a 99-04 picked on me @ a stop light.. took off and i couldn't catch up with him.. and im sure it was stock. Hell even a 99+ V6 whooped my ass.

The car has little problems that will be fixed. I actually have someone that is about to look @ the clutch this week maybe, so im getting the problems fixed as i add more crap. The only thing im mostly worried about is the clutch. The read end leaking is from jacking the car up but it doesnt look much.. just oil around the DIFF. THe headgasket is okay probably as the coolant is fine, but i believe i need a new radiator. Not sure if its just me, but when i see a nice fixed up cobra or GT i start thinking of all the bad things about my mustang and rant about it on websites.

edit: The car came like that from the dealer (ford sticker) . So the original dealer mustve put that crap on there, but it doesnt bother me. I removed the NR sticker they had there which was the initials of the dealer but it left the damn imprint.
