I love the look on my Lexus too, just think it looks weird on American cars. If i saw a good pic of a Mustang with yellow fogs and HID headlights I might change my mind, but the ones I've seen just don't look good to me.

And there are no HID bulbs, they are HID "look" halogen bulbs. real HIDs are the whole kit and are way brighter.

Somebody mentioned using stock headlights with HID conversion is bad? Blinds the other drivers or something? Any insight?

See what alot of people don't realize is there are some lexus and also some Acura's that didn't use a projector housing with the first HID systems that were avail. Also i think the Nissan Maxima also had one without a Projector housing. Now i am not saying there better or anything of the sort. The Projector is there to focus the light better and be more accurate. So if it is illegal for us if you want to get technical it sure is. But our O/R pipes, mufflers, CAI, lowering springs and so forth are illegal also. If you aim your headlights correctly you won't be blinding people while your driving.

So is it safe to say HID lights in a stock housing will light better than stock headlights, Just not to HID's full potential?

I ended up buying a 4300 kit from vvme. I've got a bad LH headlight, but the RH shines good! So far, like these a lot better than my cheap ass eBay old ones.

this is true BUT the cars that come with factory HIDs have a different housing, that focuses the HID much like a projector. There is a difference between factory cars with non projector HIDs and putting HIDs in our headlight housings, no doubt.
