hey i just got my HID kit and they have pictured in the sceumatics a relay, it didnt come with one....do they hook up and their fine? i figured everything out and the bulbs go to the ballasts and everything then theres a wire with 2 fuses that goes to the battery, id think that would be fine without a relay......people with HID's do you run relays? how is your setup

thanks a lot

you need the relay ( i assume) to give the ballasts direct power from the battery. Therefore, you would tap the power wire to either headlight and put that to the signal post on the relay, run the main power for the relay to the battery (20 amp fuse inline) and then out to the ballast... i would run 2 relays though, one for each ballast... I have the stangmods HIDs and they are direct plug and play WITH highbeams as well... good luck!

yup, the other stock light socket gets plugged, you dont need it anymore. plug the wires into the battery, plug the light socket where it needs to go, tape off the other plug socket, plug in the harness to the ballasts, and plug in the HID bulbs into the ballasts, then just plug the bulbs into the housing. all done!

the fog light kit will be identical to the headlight kit. they will still include ballasts and everything, wiring to the battery and grounds.
