The other black box runs, ECM, cooloing fan, and fuel pump
the later year cars puts this box inside infender

I think he is refering to the ignition module on the pass side fenderwell.. To the OP: does the "computer thing" by the cold air look aluminum,
and it has "fins"? if so that is your ignition module.. that can be moved to the fenderwell as well..
About the fuse box, I plan on hiding engine wires, welding up holes, etc, but, I remembered that my car is 16 years old, and fuses are bound to blow.
And when they do, I don't want to have to bother taking the wheel off to check them if they were in the fenderwell. So I am leaving the fuse
box in the engine cmopartment and hiding the wires running to it.

as much as I love the look we need to find some kind of alternative that would make it easy to change. Not sure how but....

I actually just painted my cover and made a chrome decal to go over the top of it so now rater then looking like plain black box it now sports the logo of the power wires in my stereo system

be happy to do one for you if you want. I can put any logo on it you want and even print on the vinyl for added depth. Pm me if you are interested.

yup your correct the silver box with fins, ya good idea on the fuse box i dont want to take shit apart to change a fuse, but what i was thinking of doing was hiding it in the fender and bolting a little boor on the fender that i could open and close to check on the fuses

I recessed it into the inner fender, that way it is out of the way, but still accessible. I do not have any pictures of the fuse box itself but you can see it on the driver side of the inner fender. The inner fenders you see here are fabricated, but I did have it set up the same way with the stock inner fender panels.

Wish I had better pics... :dontknow:

that looks like the way too go although well beyond anything I can do myself. Did he do it or pay to have it done.

its prob not that hard to do it your self, just some simple welds and probably body filler to cover the holes, im removing the fenders anyways so thats gonna make it easy its more time consuming then anything i would imagine
