anyone know a good fix for my aftermarket hood? The nuts the bolts go into that attaches the hood to the hinges have come out of the hood.. Do they make like some sort of expansion plug to fix this or do i need to sand an drill an repair it... Don't really know what to do at the moment. But when a 18 wheeler passes me on the highway the damn right side of my hood comes up... lol don't really know if hood pins on all for corners is the way i wanna go either... Just thought i'd ask some experts...

I would make sure its fix'ed properly, afterall that IS what is holding your hood on. You mean the latch part on the hood right? Make sure you get it well re-enforced as well. Hood pins probably wont be a bad idea ontop of that either. ME personally I dont run hood pins, ive never liked the look but im taking a risk of my hood flying up, which it hasn't so far (knock on wood)

not the latch, but the hinge on the passenger side. Those nuts that are molded into the hood came out an left two holes in there nothing to attach the hinge too.

yeah im sure you COULD go bigger bolts, its prob the easiest way, gonna be hard to just repair two holes, if it were me id talk to a fibreglass guy and see if they can re-enforce the entire area.
