Horse power, Torque and 1/4 mile estimates!

Gathering some performance parts for one big install within the next month or two. What are your estimates. HP/TRQ/1/4mile

96 gt,

So far installed

- 3:73's
- Short throw shifter
- Mac h pipe with Flowmaster cat back
- Msd ignition
- Sct 4 bank ship

So to be installed:
- Pi cams with pi intake
- c&L plenum with steeda cold air
- And tuned after everything is done

hopefully faster then me, you prob will see ahhhh low 14's till you get use to it and slowly work it down to 13's

i'd say mid 14s on street tires IF you can drive.....

Currently running 17x9 rims with 275 bfg kdw2's on the rear and 255 unfront.

Im banking on cool air and a tail wind


no legit its prog a mid to low 14 car with pi cams, of course alot will be suspension, tire,track temp, d/a, ect so yea ... its anybodys ball game

My upgrade strategy was very similiar to yours. My (only) two times out went like this:

Mods: PI cams, 3:90s, catted X, FRPP catback, pulleys, stock tune
Dyno ~220rwhp
1/4 mile 14.3x 2.02 @97.12mph

Then added these Mods and ran again: PI intake 70MM tb + TF upper intake, 17x8" DRs installed, removed jack and still stock tune.
Dyno~229rwhp (PI intake only added here)
1/4 mile 13.7x 1.90 60' @100.98

My auto with 3.73s, pi intake, full exhaust, stock automatic, and tune on street tires used to go 14.0x @ 100-102 mph all day long

In my 98 GT, with PI cams, PI intake, offroad Prochamber, UDPs, handheld tune, stock 4R70W tranny, stock 3.27 gears, and 255 street tires went 14.1x @ 98.x with so-so weather and a head wind.

Your car on decent tires, with good weather and track, and a driver, will go high 13s all day long. Probably lay down 230 rwhp and 280 rwtq (MustangDyno).
