How I've spent my weekend

So when I bought my car, it had this huge butt ugly fiberglass patch over some rust,

It bug's the hell out of me, look's stupid, and as it turns out, was utterly pointless. There were maybe 8 pinholes under it (and I mean pinholes, very small) and some pitting. So alot of beer, 40 grit, 80 grit, some filler, more 80 grit, 180, 320, primer, more 320, more 320, and two top coats of my favorite PPG PA paint, and this is what I'm left with,

So tomarrow after the paint set-ups up, it will be more 320, then 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and polishing. Times like these, I wish I was a little less OCD about doing things correctly. I took it down to the bare metal four different times because I didn't like it, lol.

Best thing about body work, if you dont like it, then take it back down to bare metal. You have to be really good to mess it up so bad you cant just take it back down to metal.

Those are from wetsanding with 600 to feather it. I'm working 12 hour days right now, so I won't be finishing until this weekend, they come right out though.
