How much to pay for gear install

I was just quoted @ 350 for the labor to do the gears on mine by my local speedshop.

An easy way to tell what gear is in your car is to put the rear of the car on stands. Have someone spin the rear wheel 10 times and count how many times the driveshaft spins. 35 times = 3.55, 37= 3.73 and so on.
That's allot of counting. It's easier to mark the drive shaft on the center the mark the wheel straight up. The turn the drive shaft however many turns it take to get the wheel straight back straight to were you were that is your hear ratio.. Less turning

Well lets just think: Its gotta be 3.08's if I'm turning very close to 2,000 RPM's at 75 mph. I mean we know the last gear on the T5's was .675 so that pretty much tells all.
