Last night I went to the track with my new drag radials. I ran a few times with them and wasn't really impressed. My short times were like 2.0. I decided that I needed to launch higher. So I launched at 4500 and ran a 1.93 60'. I let the car cool down and figured that I could do better. So the next time I went to the tree Isaid f%$@ it and launched off the rev limiter. The car didn't move. All I heard was a pop. Didn't shoot any teeth through the diff cover but I'm sure the whole thing is toast. Its ok, I was supposed to put my 31 spine upgrade tomorrow. I'm just not sure if I should stick with the 4.10's or move back down to 3.73's. I wasn't planning on replacing the ring and pinion but I'm pretty sure its destroyed. KA-POW !!!!

launching from like 6k with drag radials and stock axles isnt good

it will break soon with that kind of abuse

Honestly I don't know exactly what broke. I'm pretty sure that I ripped the teeth off either the pinion, ring gear or both. Some people at the track said they thought I destroyed a spider gear due to my trak lok failing and or severe axel hop. I'm definately getting some lca's and some new shocks before i launch like that again. It is fun though.
