How to obtain SVT papers?

Hey everyone, I bought my car about 6 months ago. The car is a true '94 Cobra as the VIN says. However, the owner did not have the SVT papers for it. I was checking to see if anyone knew if I can somehow get some SVT paper work from Ford for my car? Any insight?

I just faxed SVT my proof of ownership and they sent me a certificate. not sure they do that anymore though, at least for free, but I"m sure anyone at SVT could answer your questions.

where do you run the vin to see of you got a true cobra or not

well with 94/95's the 8th digit should be a 'D'

Usually I can tell by looking though, I have yet to be fooled :angel4:

okay i can help you.lol. here is the svt registry phone # 1-800-367-3788 (had it saved on my phone, hopefully they still use the same #). make sure to have ur vin #. if u want the paper they charge money, not sure how much. i got mine a year and a half or so ago. definitely a cool thing to have
