Had the idea of spray painting the anthracite bullitts black to match and make the look a bit sicker.

Supplies needed:

*Aircraft Remover ( Paint Stripper ) - Wear gloves and also try not to touch this since it will burn and irritate your skin.
*A brush
*Metal bowl to put paint stripper on.
*Primer (In my case I used Ace RUST STOP Primer has 15oz and it was only $5 dollars)
*Color of paint you want to paint (I used Ace RUST STOP black gloss paint also 15oz and $5 dollars)
*Masking tape.

* Step 1 - Remove wheel and clean with degreaser and also take off center cap.

* Step 2 - Add paint stripper to wheel

* Step 3 - Wait 15 minutes for paint to strip. Some sanding and more prep might be needed depending on how good the paint stripper is.

* Step 4 - Tape up and paint ( Painting the lip is tedious work and takes a while :BangHead:.

*step 5 - Paint ( I suggest 2 coats )

* Step 6 - Add gloss to protect paint and unmask tape.

Once dried good put back on car and admire :headbang:!

I also paint stripped the lip and will be wet-sanding and polish it to really shine. Hope this helps out :eek:ccasion14:!

I checked this out, turned out really nice. I saw your post on YouTube. Again- When your looking to design an exhaust system, come to me with any questions. I've put together 4 set ups now on my car and have done lots of research. There is a ton of wrong information out there to miss guide you so do some research your self. Anything you might agree with in regards to my recommendations, I can always put you in touch with the Pros. I highly recommended going to BORLA website and read the "Faqs" page. Good luck- Exhaust work is the most rewarding and the most fun for me to work on.
See Ya!- Robb

just curious but why go as far as to strip them? I would have just lightly sanded them to get a tooth on it and then hit it with the black.

Same thing i did to my Beater a few months back. I over hung the tape on the lip area and then with a brand new razor blade trimmed it there is just enough edge there to use the razor blade and it saves so much time rather then trying to line the tape up perfectly...

Yes, I did the same with the slip.. there were parts were it was past over and a razor blade took care of it. And why paint stripper? Idk, why not xD. I think they came out great..
