how to tell a forged fox block

i'm looking for a bottom end out of fox that has the forged pistons. how can you tell if it has forged pistons? I know that the 86-91 blocks had forged pistons. casting numbers? special casting on pistons? any help would be great.

There should be a date stamped behind the lifter valley on the rear of the block. If the date is before July-ish of 92 there is a good chance it will have forged pistons.

anyway to figure it out by looking at the pistons from bottom by removing the pan?
