Hello everyone. I’m currently not a mustang owner but plan to pick one up for a father son project. My oldest is getting into cars and racing so that seems like as good a reason as any to start a project. The aftermarket support and shear number of mustangs out there makes it the ideal project car for us.

Yeah I’m going to look for a clapped out v6. Was gonna call it project rustang lol. Not sure what direction I will go on the motor. Maybe a LS swap

That is very good your son is interested in automotive a mustang is a excellent project to start
Can be very easy to work on and not that expensive

The cost and ease are definitely big factors on looking for a mustang.

It's a fantastic community here and they're always willing to share some wisdom.
Very knowledgeable and pretty patient with people like me that ask silly questions!

It will be cool to see what car you choose to team up on!

I actually found a 97 cobra with a few issues. The guy who offered it to me is a friend and as honest as they come so I’m confident that he told me every issue it has. I will be going to check it out in a couple of weeks.
