I am graduating from Lehigh in May...and once I land a job, I will be buying an early 2000s 3 series BMW for a Daily...something along these lines:

I am going to throw on some M3 wheels, tint it...and be done with it...daily drive it.

syxnerd...ur right, bimmer's FTW

So the stang will officially become my toy! :eek:ccasion14:

-Taking apart the whole interior, cleaning the floor plan/spraying it w/ undercoating/putting down sound deadening...may be switching from the all black interior to a custom black/charcol 2tone
-Recovering my Corbeau A4s with leather/microsuede
-Pull the motor, shave the engine bay and build a nice blower setup, fresh exhaust
-All new suspension parts, coilovers front/rear
-New paint job, staying DFG...just adding some custom touches here and there

-Basically my car is going to be fully refinished inside and out...I'm am going to keep a very detailed build thread, I'm excited :eek:ccasion14:

They're 18x9s up front with 265/35 Bridgestones, and 18x10s out back with 295/35 BFG KDWs

The best of luck with the restoration of your mustang.
General maintenance and repairs will be expensive for a BMW.
Look for a 2000ish BMW M3 if you can afford it when you start to work.
Parts are just as expensive for my Subaru Impreza STI.
If you are considering a import vehicle look at Subarus they are excellent vehicles.
Research before you buy a BMW you mite thank yourself later.

I think, I just, shed, a tear... Jon, Outstanding!

BMW, ftw. And I'm glad you're able to keep both. I find it strange, that even in this, we have the same thinking... Have you seen the movie Parent Trap? Lets see if our parents know each other cause you're like a brother I never knew about.

Bimmers are great DD's as long as you have time to repair/money or a second car. My wife wants an older BMW or Mercedes vert as a toy but i'm not sure i want that kind of time commitment to fix it all the time and they do break and parts are not cheap. If you can do most of the work its a nice car to have.

Now if I can find a nice M5 at a reasonable price i'll gladly turn the wrenches on it.
