Ya I already was looking at it .. I agree automatics are great after you build them but the fun level is just not there and stock there the worst mustangs ever made. Automatic Sn95 are bigs that run 16 in the 1/4 lol

Very true but add a good converter, about the same price as a good clutch, and a shift kit/ j-mod same as a short throw shifter and I'll bet it's extremely comparable, add the gears into the mix and it just adds to the fun.. Add sticky tires, even more fun, but I could absolutely see the auto pulling away at the strip.. Even the street on a loose enough converter..

Can be thats for sure!!..my custom built converter was 549.00 from edge racing, trans clutch kit with input shaft was 349.00, j-mod, 20.00.. And I wouldn't be afraid to throw anything at it..

I can honestly say that a properly built auto behind a boosted higher HP car can be far more fun to drive than a manual.

Turbo cars + auto = winning

Its like having your cake and eat it cause you can just chill and not have to deal with the 500 pound clutch pedal all the time too but hit that o/d off and put the pedal to the floor and your gone.

You could build an auto with a manual valve body and tight converter that would basically mimic a manual. Sequential shifted auto ftw

I would think an auto would be fine but the heat generated from a loose converter wouldn't be too good over long perioda of.time

shit, an auto could be in the powerbnd constantly on an auto x course with a looser converter
