I cant believe it, i drove with my mustang in a supermarkt parking lot, there was a guy that was pulling out from the right side , i was waiting for him (i am a kind guy ......till than), i was waiting next to a white golf (next to my left fender) with a woman driver, in this moment she was backing up and crashed right into my left fender :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

GOD damnit how can you over see a BRIGHT RED mustang that was standing atleast 5 seconds right behind you, her statement was "I was in hurry!" :hammer:

I got out and screamed " Hell the shipping cost of this fender is more than your crappy golf is worth!!!" :rant2: :rant2: :rant2: :rant2:

At the moment i could CRY, SCREAM, BEAT SOMEONE ( :rollinglaugh: J/K)or damage something else.....i cant believe someone hit my beloved Mustang :tickedoff:

Now the fun part the police came and said " on a parking lot you have to watch out for other drivers, so your both are kinda guilty!"
I LAUGHED at him and said to the officer " Imagine!!!! Right behind this woman would stand a kid waiting for his friends on a bicycle, and the woman almost kill this kid with her stupidness, what would you say to that???"

He said " I didnt make the Rules"

I said " A L R I G HT !!" *rolleyes*

:knuppel2:

I have scars at my heart ..... :nonono:

Damn man. Were you just parked there? If so that seems sort or strange that he would tell you that you both are at fault.

Sucks and definately feel for you as I just went thought a similiar incident where the same front left fender was fugged in my stang and feel OK about it all now (see deer hates bab thread). Just remember that it's just cosmetic and no long term damage was done to either you or the stang. I got some good ideas and support here and hope you get yours fixed up to your satisfaction. PM me if you have any questions and need additional guidance.

He probably said that so he doesnt have to deal with whoever insurance he puts at fault because its in a parking lot.

Not sure how it is in Germany, but in the States control of a lane determines fault (even in a parking lot). According to what you wrote, you had control of the lane.

Sucks to hear. Hope repair goes well and isn't too costly.

I wasn't clear. He had established control of lane therefore she would be at fault.

I see from his picture that the female should be 100% at fault. If she was paying attention, she would have noticed. Even if she was in a hurry. she should have been nice and let you go like a normal driver would.

is it really bad? post pics it might be able to be removed at a painless dent repair place like his bab was :dunno:

that sucks man I had my sister run into the side of my car in the driveway. ... . . . she has no money and only makes $100 a month and she's going away to college in like 5 days. I've been yelling at my parents to fix it but they say "we don't have the money" even tho combined their income is $170k+

It's $1400 in damage and it's been injured since last may. figures it was the last day of school too...

Hope you don't get in the same predicament.

eeew that looks nasty.

Are you going to take it to a shop to repair?

If not check out www.rockauto.com
You can purchase a new fender and headlamp mounting assembly (if needed). I purchased a passenger side front fender from them earlier this year. Quality was good and lines matched up. Total shipped in the States was about $160

Yep i will take it to a US-Car Shop, they order the parts (from Rockauto anyway :)) and repair it, i could do it myself but the insurance from the woman pays the stuff anyway and the rental car i will need.

When i had my '99 Mustang i was leaving a parking lot, and I was behind a big ass truck with a woman driver(go figure) I guess she got tired of waiting for the traffic so she started backing up, i laid on the horn, she stopped... then started backing up again, i laid on the horn, she kept coming, I opened the door and stood up, and yelled at her stupid ass... She stopped the truck INCHES from my front end...(the car was low enough it would have fucked up the front bumper and hood) she yelled and told me my car was to low, she couldn't see it... I told her she was a dumb ****, and if she would have paid attention and knew how to drive, i wouldn't be standing here yelling at her... she got in her truck and peeled out... stupid bitch... I hate women drivers, and i hate women in the Navy, and I hate women in the workplace in general... it's nothing but trouble.
