...and it wont be the last time.
Not sure i'm confusing hitting the rev limiter with a misfire, occasionally if i go to overtake a few vehicles, the kickdown works ok, but just after the rev counter swings past 4500, it coughs, splutters then goes.
Sometimes it does'nt do it at all, which makes it hard to work out, i thought it might be rev limiter, but the pms has set that just above stock. The car drives perfectly under 4500rpm, changes gear ok everything, i've thought about the dizzy, but why does it only misfire occasionally, its like someone clearing their throat as it misfires.

if you bounce off the limiter it's more of a bounce... it hangs there, and bounces off and doesn't sputter, it just...well...bounces

Agreed, i thought it was hitting the "wall", but after a few other runs it seems its more of an intermittent misfire.

Just spoke to Rick at Anderson Motorsports, [what a great guy :thumb:] he suggested gapping the plugs to 35-thou for normally aspirated, so i've done them and will try it tommorow.
