I Need Rear End Advice

Im going with a set of ford racing 3.73's, but before i order these i would like to know what else if anything i should replace within my rearend. my cars got about 130K miles on it and i know by now it should need some sort of maintenance.

Should i just go ahead and buy the 3.73's or should i get the complete axle ring and pinion kit by ford racing? this kit includes ford racing gears, red line gear oil, cone roller bearing, bearing race, and shim kit.

is this kit unnecesary? i know a few buddies bought ford racing gears and were able to just swap them right in without any kind of kit.

So do you guys think i should get the kit i spoke of, or is there another kit out there with more parts to replace?

just get a SVT T-lok rebuild kit. come with new clutches for the dif and all the goodies you will need to install the gears

i will do 31 spline Detroit,31 spline axles and be done with it.get girdle its lot easier to change the oil if needed.

i just bought some moser 31 splines and a mini spool :) but while you are in there replace all the bearings... and redo the clutch packs in the t lock.

Can you guys recomend a kit and a dealer?

where can i get the svt kit southern gun was talking about?

aside from that, we do have limited slip differentials right?

so should i buy the traction lock rebuild kit, and the ring pinion installation kit. both of them or do i need just one?

yeah i know its probably a dumb A$$ question but i just need to make sure, i gotta do this right if i want it to last.
