I need your opinions, please...

I still am unsure on how I want to fix up my car. I want to @ least know what body parts to buy though. I am not sure @ all for which hood to buy. The night I bought my car, I sat down and made a wish list. I did not really know the options, I just knew what I wanted to buy for sure! I wrote down a 96-98 Cobra hood because I really liked it, and that's all I knew of. Now after seeing my options, it has thrown my head for a loop! I had it down to a Baby R hood, now I simply don't know! I have a ABC Cobra front bumper waiting on my to go on. Here's my thoughts though! I do not want my car to be a Cobra. I like the GT look of it. Will buying the hood as well look like I am trying to make it a Cobra? Sorry this is so long, too! My head only thinks it in the long form! Tell me what you think, please. Thanks!!

I think the stock cobra hood looks best. If I were you I'd just have a body shop put your bumper and new hood on at the same time. This would also be the perfect time for a new coat of laser red. :thumb:

Oh, I am going to have my best friend/cousin paint it for me!! I am going to have it totally re-shot! I just don't have a way I want it done yet! I don't want it just plain! I want to use silver, somehow. Thanks!!

If you like the look of the GT then i don't think the cobra bumper is a good idea

You'll be fine with the cobra hood and bumper though as long as you don't add Cobra badges.

i don't like when people mis badge
my friend has an 06 GT and he thinks if he makes as fast and looks the same as a GT 500 its totally acceptable to put the GT500 badges on it, i think thats whack! no matter how fast it is its not really a GT 500 and some things need to be kept holy
how do others feel about this misbadging phenomenon

i suggest the cowl cobra r hood and chin spoiler. i dont think it would be a corbra clone. imo. :happydrunks:

I just don't really care for anything bigger than that 1.5" cowl. It's just for me, though! I have the Cobra front bumper and I will put it on! I love how it looks!! It has the lip, so I know the chin spoiler will drag big time on my town's crummy roads!! I WILL NOT add the Cobra badging though! I know that for sure, too. I cannot stand when people do that stuff either! It's OK to add 05-08 GT badges, but not adding what your car isn't!
I'm kind of leaning to the Cobra hood, for now.
