Well since my old oil pressure gauge went kaboom (just the line broke but it still pissed me off) I installed a new one and I also found that my car was making a funny noise..... Well I found out that it was this little guy....

So yea. When I turn it off it sounds like a little blow off valve.

Re: Got some stuff fixed

when you go to install that pcv valve, put in a an oil seperator while your at it.
the seperator goes between the hose that goes from the pcv to the manifold. keeps the oil out of the intake

But wouldn't that be a consistent sound as opposed to only when I turn off the car? Also, the sound is from that valve I replaced I just dont know why it makes a loud poof sound when the vehicle turns off.

maybe you can't hear it over the motor noise.
IDK man , I'm not there. I'm just trying to give you something to look for. Funny noises are hard to diagnose via the internet

True that. I guess I can explain it more. It comes from the PCV valve when I turn off the engine. I know because I replaced it and it still makes the noise. If I start the car up and listen close to the valve nothing happens. Idle or when throttle is applied.
