Guys, I`ve kinda hit a brick wall in regards to where I go next with my GT. I have even contemplated selling it and buying a Fox.
After basic bolt ons where do I go? Blower is out as it works out $9000 here which is money I`d never recover on a sale. I`ve thought about
an offroad H but with my Magnapacks I fear it`ll be ridiculously loud and I`ll look like a knob. (no jokes at this bit :D )

Nitrous sounds like a plan but I live miles from nowhere so getting gas would be near impossible. I`ve even thought about stripping it out in the quest for more speed or fun. I`m stuck. Any ideas? I fear the Stang novelty is wearing off. :(

Full suspension, gears, hell even a stereo system... there is always a new angle to go.

A turbo? Sounds cool. I already have gears so thats out. I thought maybe a geared car could handle a low boost centri blower but, I`m not sure.

I suppose you`re in control of your right foot eh ? :p

A New V3 s-trim kit is around $3k, add another $200 for a 340lph fuel pump and you're set. Pretty sure shipping, taxes and import fees aren't $5k plus.

Centri makes sense maybe. Blower fitted I`ve been quoted GBP5500-6000 for a Paxton Novi 1200SL. Thats the going rate here unfortunately. With the exchange rate at I`m up against it.Sure, importing the kit works out cheaper but Mustangs are rare round my parts and no-one would touch it unless I went to England. Then they`d be crying as I imported it myself and theres no profit in it for them. So add a weekend away into the equation and its stacking up. Basically if I was going FI I`d want it done right and my auto skills don`t stretch that far so for me its pay the cash or shut up.
I know bolt ons arent worth a fuck mostly on N/A cars so its really forced induction for any kinda jump in performance. I haven`t got a CAI as they`re a waste of cash. Underdrive pullies? I`d be as well spending my cash on air fresheners.
Fuck it. I might sell it. For the money I could get for it I could buy a good AMG Merc or an M5.

I dunno. I`ll take it a drive today and see how I feel about it.

I think your under estimating FULL bolt-on, 2 valves with 4.10 or even 3.90's move out pretty good. and if you do get some N2o just use it once in a while, get an extra bottle even. BTW nice looking car.

Your GT is beautiful, man. I would really think about it before you sell. You're just going through a time like most of us do at some point or another when we get bored with our cars, at least I did. About 8 years ago I was really thinking about selling when I decided to swap my automatic transmission for a Cobra 5-speed. Since then? I haven't been bored with it.

I've made some small changes here and there, different headlights, tailights, interior, etc and it seemed to get me interested again. Late last year I got a new s281 spoiler and recently picked up a set of chrome Saleen wheels for a great price. My car has basic bolt-ons and I enjoy driving it even with it's low HP

Don't rush into anything too quickly, I'd hate to see your GT go. It really is one of the nicest I've seen in a while and I would be proud to drive it. There can't be too many of them around can there?

OP, I know what you mean with the Stang getting boring. Upgrading my seats and doing an LED gauge cluster really set a difference for me. And plus this may be a phase where you get bored of the 'Stang.

My opinion, dont waste your money on the bolt ons and buy yourself a used vortech kit, even a base/ simple kit will get you way more bank for your back than anything else.

You can do a generic used kit for less than 2k...just run a 8-9 psi pulley, non IC, and the best part is you can easily pull it off and sell the kit for a very small loss when you want to sell the car.
