I want a new steering wheel.

I don't want an FR500 steering wheel. I don't care if I lose the airbag. I was looking at a Grant Steering Wheel but I need to know what install kit I need to buy. What other suggestions you guys have? I don't want to spend more than say 150 bucks for the wheel.

I've heard that removing airbags is illegal but I don't know about around here.

I don't think itd look good with a diffrent steering wheel setup because of how big the column is.

because they suck ass. mine did more damage to me than help i think. i was trying to do the same mod. got a wheel just need a install kit to work. they say the grant kit 8525 or something like that works. we'll see keep me informed.

I talked to Grant and they said they have no idea what would work. They do make a kit for a Flaming River steering column though. I know Momo makes a hub but I would have to buy a Momo wheel. We will see.

My car is the 248a package. Basically a base V6 Mustang with a V8 in it. Only thing cool I have is the AC. No power windows, no power locks, no cruise control, V6 seats. It is as basic of a GT as you could get in 96.
