Why don't you just save your money for the year and dump it all at once into the stang.. You say it'll be yours, then wait and tell them, since it's yours you can do as you wish.. Plus.. Having parts laying around to go on and finally getting them on is one hell of a great feeling..

the car is already payed for, and in a year the car will be in my name anyway.. so i don't understand why they just won't let me get it now instead of later. lol

I thought about like drilling holes in my mufflers but then we were having a huge argument about me getting exhaust...(and how I'm like a 4 year old wanting what everyone else has...i don't understand...) I said something about I'm just gonna drill holes in my mufflers and pipe and then I'd have to get new ones and then they said they'd just sell the car. (probably the wrong thing to say lol)

I don't want to be illegal I just want some weld in slp's and then a catted x or h pipe later on.

I'm just tired of having the stock exhaust.. it's just too quiet I want to be able to rev my car and people actually hear it lol

if people could hear your car when you rev it, you might attract some fast cars, in which case you should watch out.
get some bolt ons, or some PI heads and cams and intake manifold. or a handheld. or gears. anything to actually make it fast and not loud.

I don't want o/r cause then I can't pass emissions... I don't want to change the pipes out everytime i have to do emissions and i don't want a cel on all the time either :dunno: plus i don't want that raspy air sucking back in sound after u rev it like happens when u don't have cats or ur mufflers are weird.

My buddy just took off the mufflers gave it a little sound at idle nothing to big and when he got on it it sounded nice for 20 bucks it was a nice improvement.. but you could get away with it and not have your parents notice if you didnt get on it in front of the house..

Who cares about smog.... Aftermarket Cats dont pass smoke is most states anyways.... and thought MO doesnt care about smog?
You wont have a Check engine light on either is you do 1 of 2 things.... Buy MIL eliminators or turn the rear O2 sensors off with a tune.

As for sound.... O/R sound WAY better than catted. You could even run stock mufflers with a O/R and it will sound Bomb. O/R Pipes makes any car sound Sexy.... and there isnt any whistling noise

I Live in California, The HARDEST state on Smog Regulations...... California is the Smog Nazi State. I have been driving in cali for 4 years with No Cats and Flowmaster and havent gotten rolled/hassled/or had any issues..... I just pay someone $100 Cash to pass my car..... $40 more than a actual smog check is a deal.
