i think it can be a blast as well i like the class where you can make as much hp as you want but it has to be on stock suspension.... i think the fastest one i saw was a car with 1200hp (i think)

If you get bored, search youtube for Mayhem Racing. The guy's name is Mark Utecht. He rally raced an '88 coupe with a 351 in it (up until about a year ago when he switched over to build a road course car). I've been lucky enough to go for a ride. Crazy stuff they do up in the Northwoods of Minnesota. They also do ice/frozen lake racing in the Winter.

Never heard a class like that in my life in rallying. Group B was King in the 80s though. Proper cars with proper drivers. Watch the video below and be impressed. Although the Finns are probably the best rally drivers on the planet Walter was a German. Driving for Audi obviously. Footwork , driving, car control and shifting is in a different league from everybody on this and probably any other forum.

I rally raced my 2wd toyota pickup one time.

Its a blast, but kinda stupid at the same time.

The only car that ran worse than me was a porsche 914.

Rally is awesome but truly mustangs werent made for it, yes you can built a mustang for it but its not the same, i prefer a WRC subaru, evo, focus or citroen over a mustang for rally
