Ok, so car has been amazing since the head gasket and oil dipstick issues were resolved.I've been driving it all week, Drove to the bank and everything was good, went out and started it, and talked to my mom for a minute while car was idling, and went to leave. Noticed about 5 miles into trip my idle wasn't dropping. Stopped and checked the throttle cable, everything was ok. Drove to the Tax office today to get my title, and half way there I realized that when I pressed the clutch or came to stop the idle wasn't going below 1500-1900 rpms. after about 2-3 min it would start to slowly come down, and either go to around 700, or stop at 1000rpms. Stopped at the walmart, and jumped on my phone looking for possible causes.
1. IAT dirty or stuck
2. Intake Manifold leaking
3. Vaccum leak
So I decided to try the first fix went inside got some fuel injector cleaner, and cleaned the IAT. IAT it'sself looks new.....Inside the throttle body was kinda nasty, so cleaned it throughly, reassembled, filled up with Premium, and went to the tax office...Still acting wierd at the point...
Left the Tax office after waiting the usual hour in line. Car acted wierd for about a mile idle felt low..like 400-500rpm, and after that seems to be better.... Drove home, started raining so i havn't got to chech anything else.
Is there anything other than the listed I might have to check or I can look for? It has been raining alot lately, dunno if that matters....
