Ok, so car has been amazing since the head gasket and oil dipstick issues were resolved.I've been driving it all week, Drove to the bank and everything was good, went out and started it, and talked to my mom for a minute while car was idling, and went to leave. Noticed about 5 miles into trip my idle wasn't dropping. Stopped and checked the throttle cable, everything was ok. Drove to the Tax office today to get my title, and half way there I realized that when I pressed the clutch or came to stop the idle wasn't going below 1500-1900 rpms. after about 2-3 min it would start to slowly come down, and either go to around 700, or stop at 1000rpms. Stopped at the walmart, and jumped on my phone looking for possible causes.

1. IAT dirty or stuck
2. Intake Manifold leaking
3. Vaccum leak

So I decided to try the first fix went inside got some fuel injector cleaner, and cleaned the IAT. IAT it'sself looks new.....Inside the throttle body was kinda nasty, so cleaned it throughly, reassembled, filled up with Premium, and went to the tax office...Still acting wierd at the point...

Left the Tax office after waiting the usual hour in line. Car acted wierd for about a mile idle felt low..like 400-500rpm, and after that seems to be better.... Drove home, started raining so i havn't got to chech anything else.

Is there anything other than the listed I might have to check or I can look for? It has been raining alot lately, dunno if that matters....

Might be a TPS also. If you have an ohm meter you ck the resistance of the TPS and look for flat spots as you slowly cycle the tps.

Get a can of Seafoam & suck it up through pcv line slowly to clean out that line, throttle body, upper intake. While performing that, look around for a loose vacuum line or loose CAI rubber fitting, anything where air leaking possible.
-You can put a drinking straw (or piece tubing/hose) into the Seafoam can and hold the end of the straw sticking up to the pcv which has suction on it. Trust me, the Seafoam induction is a great diagnostic tool when tracking down other issues too.
-Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice, Damn this rain....soon as it dries up a bit, I'll start checking over all that, and pick up a can of seafoam.

Its a very common issue, what i did to fix it until my new motor goes in (and maybe even then) was make a restrictor plate to go on the IAC which makes the holes smaller and it helps alot! But as stated above it could be numerous things.

Sorry, life hasn't been so great lately, found out my mom has cancer and dealing with that.

Cleaned and worked everything over, problem has resurfaced. So assuming it cleared up with a little cleaning. Hoping it doesnt come back soon, I dont have much time to deal with problems atm.
