opened the hood in the dark to check something, engine was running and before I turned on my shop light I seen that two of the four mounting screws were glowing blue!!!! Also that everywhere that all eight plug wires touched metal where arking!!!! I know I need plug wires but would that cause those screws to glow????

woooooooooow. replace your wires NOW. if they are arching through the insulation, they've been neglected for some time.

get those off asap.. get a set of ford racing 9mm wires and be done with it. I have longtubes and I have no issues with my wires, and longtubes make everything a lot hotter than stock manifolds.

sanded the paint/connection on both ends prior to installing it? I would double check it and your other grounds.

Cheap under hood glow. . If wires are arking replace them. I have some pretty much new. Also a coil..
I think your coil is grounding off the bracket. Check all your grounds. Specially battery to block..

I had the same thing typed out in my last post before I deleted it. Shouldn't it ground to the chassis just like anything else does?

The glowing is probably residual radiation from the Fukishima meltdown if I had to guess.

replaced the wires with 9mm wires and no more arking and no more glowing screws must of bin from the spark jumping to ground and the coil already being grounded
