so after c-mas i have enough money to buy a full pi swap including a tune up and new injectors, but i need the money for labor.

i would be doing it myself, but my garage is not big enough i dont have enough tools to do it.

so i need to save about $500 more and then i'll have a kick ass engine..

my real question is about the computer, since the pi 4.6 and the npi 4.6 is the same engine, do i need to tune my 98's computer?

if so, i'll have to save up for a tuner as well.

You won't have to tune your car. The computer will be able to make up for the difference. How many components of the PI swap do you have? PM me if you need help or parts.

Check the classified ads. You can most likely piece the components together a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a kit. It is amazing what people have laying around.

Shop around, I bought pi heads with cams for $350 on eBay, though I already have pi intake, just a word of advice, make sure to get Romeo heads, I spent around $200 in miscellaneous crap for the Windsor heads

i just dont like buying things seperatly because every time i take something to my mechanic there is something missing.

i'd hate to have the engine apart and need something like a gasket or a hose that i didnt get purchased.

Buying it separate will say you $500+ alone. You can get the Heads cams for like $300 Then just buy injectors. But didn't the PI motors have 19lb injectors? You may not need to upgrade them yet?
