Rule of thumb for sn95 cars market.

In my area I use an example of what I see them sell for

SN95 PRICES:
Years 1994-1998

1. condition: super low miles stock/modded gt/ cobra like show room MINT! 9 out of 10 or 10out of10 Cars:

low= $8,000-$12,000 - high= $13,000 - $20,000

2. condition: Low miles and or modded or cobra:

low= $5,000-$8,000 - high= $9,000-$12,000+

3.condition: higher miles,stock,slighty modded gt/v6: < ( average normal 1 you will find)

low$3,000-$5,000 - high= $5,500-$7,000

4.condition salvage title, damage,fixxer upper extremely higher miles stock/v6/gt:

low= $900-$2,000 - high= $2,500-$4,000

For example My car I bought 4 1/2 years ago bone stock pretty much with just catback with 114k miles I paid $5,500 off my friend and the stock tranny and motor were shot, Now I have pretty much everything done to my car about $15k into it new motor tranny mods labor etc.

I would sell my 1995 mustang for $7,000-$9,000,The lowest I would prob let it go for is $6-$7k esp since i paid $5500 for it and that was stock with no mods needing work and now have 15k into it new tranny motor pretty much every mod done..

So that is a deal for a clean higher miles modded gt. Ive had morons offer me 3-4k for my to I lol, I'm offended because My car isnt stock or high miles of 130k-150k+ and stock or need work I have alot in it its mint 4k miles on the new motor and 124k on the body some people just want to low ball people on prices.

so I would say that car would be $4,000-$5,000+ car. and then you can talk him down from there if he will take any lower.

GOOD LUCK!!

these cars are a lob or of love! you have to love the cars to buy them especially if you buy used! they will likely need some sort of maintenance/rebuild done to some part at some point, you can never expect to get anywhere near what you put into it! i say if this guy is asking too much, then let him keep his car, besides no one sell's unless they really need to!

This is true, but when You have alot of money you wanta little money back I wouldnt expect to get even half but you want atleast some money back, esp if ur not desperate, I see $10,000 cars, and people make an offer of $3,000, thats a low baller, I would tell them to kick the curb, some people dont kno the art of making an " offer" if some 1 says 10, then u say ill give u 9,500 or $9k or $8 thats an offer when some 1 says 10k for the car, I hate low ballers, but this is true for the most part.

Yes, I think he told me he sold the white one for $4300.

Im picking this up for 3200. Stock except for springs and o/r H pipe. Just has a fresh tune up and body/interior is in great shape. I think its a deal, and my dad owns a auto repair shop so if anything needs to be fixed, it gets done..
I love BAB!

miles are numbers.. the theory i have come to accept is this...

were they 151k hard miles?

or were they 151k grandma miles?

mines at 160k and running like new, so im guessing i got a grandma car :)

miles really only affect me if im planning to sell the car, which im not. so that little number on the dash, i can just ignore.

That blue one turned out to be junk. Leaking around the oil pan, rear diff was leaking, h pipe was hacked to hell, idled bad, paint was terrible, interior was disguesting and all the pieces were faded and broken.

A car is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.
Not true because vehicle values are different depending on what area
you are in.In my area resale seems to be higher.There are not alot of
mustangs for sale around me either.When the car market changes one day
resale value will only be going back up.A buyers dream but,a sellers nightmare
right now so,I say don't sell unless you have to.

At first I offered $3800, and he declined and said he had offers for 4k and didnt take them. I cant pay much more than $4200, but if it came down to it, id prob pay $4500 if it runs good and I can afford it.
if he's telling you he's turning down offers for $4k, then he's either bullshitting you, or he doesnt know what he's trying to sell. regardless of how clean it is, with how old it is and how many miles it has, I personally wouldnt offer that guy any more than $2,000 for it. You gotta realize, a '95 is now a 15yr old car...
