imrcs leaking!

Hey,
Well I'm running lean because my imrcs are leaking on bank 2.
I'm deciding whether I want to attempt to rebush them, Attempt to find some new ones, or just go with the imrc delete kit.
Any suggestions. Also, does anyone know if the imrc delete kit will affect smog in California?

just delete them, WELL worth deleting.

im not sure on what qualifies for passing smog for you, but there should be a Check Engine Light that comes on if you delete the IMRC's without getting the car re-tuned. now if you do get it retuned, i dont see why you wouldnt pass smog

Would I be able to tune it with an sct tuner after the irmc delete?

you can't but a tuner with access to your ecu can-then you just load your new tune

Can anyone here tell me if the irmc plates from a 98 will work with the control box and wires from a 96

They're interchangeable 96-98. The 96 ones were aluminum and the 98's were composite. thats all.
