Are there any concessions to be made in my front suspension for the new 351w & it's extra weight? I need some advice. I'm prepping my street car to for beginner HPDE action and some autocross. I don't have a huge budget and Im in need some direction.

My current progressive rate springs (Tenzo R :dontknow: came with the car) provided a great slammed look but have a horrible personality when pushed. On top of that, I have strange 10 way struts, MM cc plates, Energy Suspension endlinks/sway bar bushings, 98 cobra sway bar and a qa1 k member. I run 275/35-18 Nitto 555s on 18x8.5 Konigs.

I believe my spring/strut combo is terribly mismatched and need to know what works. Should I lean towards a coil over setup thatll carry over to an eventual MM k member swap? If so, should I grab some tubular control arms or spring for a strut tower brace??

Road racing = crack and I'm hooked!

Coil-overs with probably a 375 pound or higher coilover spring up front. Call Maximum Motorsports and they can help you. That's what I did when I had my Windsor-swapped pig of a convertible. :)

MM = win. They made the uni into a handler, ay? I'll grab a set when the time is right and possibly buy additional springs in different rates to experiment. Need excuses to attend lapping days.

In 15 months, the New Orleans Motorsports Park (NMP) club circuit will open and help make my open track dreams a reality. Wilson Motorsport, who brought you the Arizona Motorsports Park, designed our track.

All of my cars are built with handling in mind. They are basically just drivers, with decent enough suspension to handle the occasional open track event.

Send MM a email, they took a little while to reply but were spot on with advice when I emailed them.
