I'm pretty sure an Induction kit like he's referring to is a Cold Air intake. There are quite a few air intakes out there for our cars and they all seem to offer about the same thing as the next one. I like my stock box but the cheapo eBay ones work just as well as any expensive one although their finish might not be as nice.

years ago I bought an ebay cheap CAI. The filter always looked a little small compaired to some of the others so this weekend I bought a spectre filter to go on the old piping. This filter is bigger then the old one to the point that I have to put it on in the fender rather then through the hole. I can't help but think that a bigger filter will pass more air, and the filter was only $25.

A smaller filter could have the risk of being restrictive. It's better to go bigger then needed. Doesn't hurt.

that is what I thought. The end of it was open as well in a vortex so it just looked like there was soo much more filter for the air to go through which cant be a bad thing and for the price it seemed like a no brainer.
