ive been building a new motor over the winter and finally got it done and to the dyno. ive got a few issues the tuner is working but its getting there. a/f was around 10.1 to 10.3 on the big end so there is still work to be done. he made a 2500 to 5500 pull and with 10 degrees of base timing and on pump gas it made 480 at the tires and maxed out my pmas mass air meter. i had to leave it with him so he gonna put on a sct ba-3000 meter and see what he can do. its a 331 with a all forged lightweight rotating assembly. afr 185's, tfs r intake, d1sc procharger with a 3.30 reichard racing pulley and complete aeromotive fuel system and 80 # injectors. i cant wait till he starts the e-85 tune.

dont know boost level cause he was tring to get a base line before he started tweeking, so he didn't even look. yes it a production yyy block. yea a 75mm or 3" pmas blow through mass air meter. 80 lb injectors because it will be set up for E-85. he didn't print anything for me so I cant post it, he was showing me the screen on the dyno. it is being tuned on a mustang dyno also. he showed me the grapg and said the a/f was 10.2 which is pretty rich. he stopped the pull at 5500 rpm because thats where the mass air meter read 4.95 volts. and it made 482.3 @ 5520.7 rpm and still climbing. i'm out of town for work in MN so I will know more this weekend. he did replace the ignition switch and tumbler and said it helped out a bunch on the idle and dieing problem. i have some vids but they are on my camera at home. i'll try and post some up soon. he's guessing 510-520 on pump gas and probably over 550 on e85

Yes it will. The only thing I would recommend is putting a 26 spline input shaft in the 3550 and you'll be set. :headbang:

yea, I seen someone has an upgraded input shaft and is also 26 spline that I will get as soon as I can find a 3550 for a good enough of a deal. plus my pocket book needs to recover first from this over the winter build. I spent a ton more than I was originally planning on. lucky me that i"m still married. :violent1:

I'm thinking about going E85. After my port I should be about 480 and about 520 on E85

well, I talked to my tuner today and he said my car was done. I only have one problem left now. my spec stage 3 clutch isn't holding. he said the hp numbers are aren't accurate because of the clutch but he said at 5500 rpm it made 550 ft lbs of torque on pump gas and 618 ft lbs of torque on e-85 with a conservitive tune. he said to fix the clutch issue and bring it back. he said he could put around 5 degrees more timing in it on e-85 and pick up around 40 or 50 more hp. he's guessing right now on e-85 it making 600hp or more to the tires. and that at 5500 rpm! not too bad for just a little 331
