Injector size

Hey guys, I"m starting the supercharger install next month on my 342 combo. I'm going to be running 6 lbs of boost d/t compression and was curious on what size injectors. My rear wheel horsepower is 310. I've calculated my horsepower should be around 500-540 at the crank with 6lbs of boost. Also I have a higher than normal compression ratio of 10.5-1. Would 42lb injectors be enough or should I go with a 50lb injector. Thanks for your help.

Ive heard that 42# should be good up to 500ish. better to be safe than sorry though and get a little bigger injector in case you decide to grow down the road

it's also different for what rpm u shift at. my friend maxed out his 19lber's on his probe at 190whp cause he revs it out to 8100rpms lol

#42's are quite common when it comes to H/C/I ( typical no wild combo set ups) and boost of up to 10LBS. You can run injectors at 90% duty cycle until the fuel requirements start to become to much for them. It wont hurt to go higher then #42's but I wouldnt consider anything lower.

I ran 42's with my 10.3:1 C/R 10 PSI 2v and was at 78% duty cycle at WOT, they are plenty.
