I installed a brand new set of Cobra front lower control arms today because the original factory ball joints were pretty much gone at 115k miles finally. I got a brand new set of control arms from Ford for $143 and just swapped them out this morning. THe handling is better and the turning radius is crazy how much more it added. the steering is much more responsive.

I will get pics hopefully tomorrow.

I think this should be a cheap must for anyone with our cars who are trying to increase performance and friendly drive ability.

I think I'll save my pennies and get the tubular arms. Car already has coil-over front end, so I might as well.

I did this a few years ago when one of my balljoints went and i loved it....well worth it :thumb:

Thats the whole reason I did mine too!!! A whole lot less work than pressing them off and on and then cleaning them up and still putting back in used control arms with used bushings.

I bought them from Tommie Vaughn and they are a Ford Racing package for the two from a FORD Dealer.
