I found a 1994 cobra gauge cluster on ebay I'm going to get an I just wanted to know what's involved in installing this? How much of the dash do I have to take apart, and would it be something simple for someone without alot of mechanical experience or should I get my mechanic to do it?

also, how would I calibrate it, the GT cluster goes to 150mph but the cobra goes to 160mph, I'll be getting 3.73's in the spring so I might as well wait till then, plus im not driving it for the winter so no point doing it now.

removing the cluster is easy, not sure about calibrating.... OTher then the other 10 mph, what are you going to gain from going through the time and trouble?

Hit me up with a pm if you want to put a svt decal like the 03 cobras.

First of all, what year is your car? If its a 94-95 then you should really have no problems I believe but if you have a 96-98 then you will most likely need to do a lot of re-pinning of the harness and your speedometer might not work.

If your car is a 5.0, it's just a bolt-in thing if I'm not mistaken.

Bolt-in and go. It'll work.

Yea mine is a 1994, so it will just be a bolt on then...but here's the kicker...

Im from Canada, so everything is in Kilometers. The cobra cluster is off an American car, so it's in MPH.

will my car now count in miles? or will it still be km's?

so if I transfer it over, would it be possible to change my odometer to the equivalent in miles? also what about the trip counter?
