Are all 96-98 Gt intake manifolds the same?

There are only two 96-98 manifolds, all plastic and the other has the aluminum coolant crossover. For the trouble of replacing it, the upgrade to the pi manifold is well worth it.

And beware of aftermarket PI manifolds like Dorman. Not as much power as a Ford piece, I'm told. You can still get a brand new Ford Racing PI intake.

Dorman replacement intake is what he refering to. They are pitiful. ...dont do it! Buy a pi intake or grab one from a 03 up modular 2v car.
