so i noticed that the intake on my 98 gt is cracked and now i need to replace it. What I was wondering is if i want to get a better intake like the PI intake from the 99-04, will it only fit if I have the PI heads too or can I just put it on the the car the way it is now with the non-PI heads. Also if i have to have the PI heads is there other upgraded intake manifolds that will give me more hp without having to get the PI heads?

If you do switch to Pi heads yes there are more manifolds out there BUT as far as Natural Asperation and best bang for the buck, you cant beat the stock PI manifold with aluminum crossover.

You can just put it on the car.
Buying any other than the stock PI intake for an NPI car with NPI heads and cams and no power adder is like pissing into the wind...

you can put a pi intake on npi heads. i just did it on my 98gt. you can get a pi intake from summit for 188. and you just need to replace the nipple on the back of the water pump and get a 2001 heater hose (the one in the Valley) and the gaskets, a couple of dabbs of silicone and you done. i can tell the difference from the stock intake. but if you want alot more than get the heads.

The bullitt dose have a little more power BUT the weight of it, and the different throttle cables ect that you will need don't warrent it better power/weigh then the stock.jerms said:
