so i'm having a lot of clearance issues.

First issue: my GT40 tubular intake has 2 fittings that are on the bottom/ drivers side of the intake. These fittings hit my valve cover. I removed the fittings and want to know if the holes can be plugged. i dont know what supposed to go to these fittings; vaccuum or something?

Second issue: I have a TFS Elbow, BBK TB and 1" spacer to go between the elbow and intake. My TB hits the valve cover. I was told if i had the 1" phenolic spacer and 1" TB spacer that my tall valve cover clearance problem would be fixed, but it still need to be about 1/4- 1/2 inch higher.

So, do i just need to stick another 1/2" spacer on top of my 1" phenolic spacer? The reaon i dont want to do this is it makes my intake hit my hood. so i dont know what to do.

what do you guys recomend? Fox intake swap?

PM replied to. you can pull the vaccum fittings out and get some pipe thread plugs from the parts store. Just run whatever fittings you need to hook up all your stock lines...no big deal.

yeah i didnt think there would be a problem plugging the holes.

i just need to find a way to get the tb and elbow to fit right. may need to do some grinding or something

I asked the same question on the corral and everybody said that the Trick Flow valve covers (short) would work with my 1.7's . This is comming from people who have the 1.7's and short valve covers. Since you are running trick flow heads they have the raised valve cover rails for more clearence.

I will pm you the link.
