Hey guys I have the two tone interior. (black and grey) Im thinking Im going to take out the bezel that has the window controls and mirrors and locks etc. out and painting them black. so i would have the grey door panels but add some more black to the interior. Anyone have any pics of this done? or anyone have an opinion on whether this will look good or not. also what else would you recomend that I paint to go along with this two tone scheme.
Thanks in advance.

an idea is to post pics in the virtual body shop section for some photoshopping. or instead of $15.00 paint, buy brand new parts for $15.00... :)

Dude, yea time for 50/50 like every other black/grey combo I've seen.

or paint match it.... which, i find risky at best....... can easily go from ballar to ricer with 1 too many parts sprayed.

Mine are all gray as well. They stopped the two-tone coloring for the '96 model year. Just another way to cheapen the cars. In time, I will
just order some new ones for the '94-'95 w/ power widows and install them. They blend into the dash much better.

Ford has probably discontinued OEM replacements by now. Just waiting for someone to start re-poping them like the '87 thru '93 stuff.

^ No kidding... Huh. I was told they quit that for the '96 M.Y. Maybe he meant they stopped that at the end of the '96 M.Y. My bad.
Now I wonder about the '97's. Knowing Ford, they probably phased the 2-tone out on-the-fly during a model year run.
Has anyone seen reproductions of these panels anywhere...... yet?? I'm sure they won't be cheap as a full panel assembly with insulation, window seal and all.

My 96 is 2 tone black/tan on doors also and i've seen some 94-95 with all tan interiors (doors/rear 1/4) so there is no method to Fords madness.

I'm going to do my doors, rear 1/4 , center console and lower front trim with black interior die from Late Model Restoration. I'll do the dash if/when my heater core fails.
