Is converting a V6 auto to V8 5-speed worth the trouble?

My 95 GT was stolen and crashed, engine and tranny are still good though. I found a 95 mustang with a bad engine but its a V6 automatic.

Would the swap be easy or would it more trouble then its worth. A search just gives me peoples opinions on the swap rather then actual facts of what needs to be done.

So facts would be greatly appreciated!

since you have a complete v8 car to do the swap...it's basically just a matter of transferring parts from one to another. Park them side by side and get at it. :headbang:

its a very simple swap....ive swap a 98 v6 to 5.0-t-5 as well as a 96 and 2002 for some friends...well worth the time and money if you have the parts or can get them..have the patients...and have a nice body for it all to go in....many people think its a pain...but thats the people who are to affraid to do it and dont have the skill to...its not hard...

with that being said....if you have the right tools...the whole swap can be started on a friday night and end sat. night and driving sunday....not to big of a deal..depends on your car experience...i can tell you where ever bolt is you need to know about and how to do that exact swap in my sleep
