I am going to drop off my shinoda chin and S281 decklid spoiler this afternoon to get painted. I know that no matter how hard I try that there will probably come a day when I scrape the chin no matter how carefull I am. Because of this I am going to cover the bottom of it with a bedliner material that will hopefully add another layer to help hold together when it does happen but also to just make for easy touch-ups afterwards. Going too do the bottom and maybe around the bottom edge leading towards the front so a slight line of it might be visable. While I do that I am also going to do the bottom of my side exhaust skirts for the same reason and was wondering if I need to stop before I get too the end where the tip is too keep it from melting later or if it would be ok to go all the way down the bottom?
