As I remember, the Romeo's are equipped with the cam "girdles" as shown here. The Windsors just have the caps only.

All NPI's are Romeo. There is no more proven strength in either R or W head design. It doesn't matter if you use Windsor heads on a Romeo block (or vise verse). I'm running W heads on a R block.

This is a Windsor head.

Looks like my old valve covers will not fit on my new PI heads. Still wondering if the timing cover will

Why wouldnt they, how do you feel they are different. (romeo and windsor do use a different number of bolts for the valve cover so you may need to see the other style. but other then that npi and pi timing covers are the same.

count the bolts. you might have romeo when you need windsor (or vise-versa)

luckily those valve covers are super common and super cheep.... go to any ford-part sales place (www.cjponyparts.comhttp://, jegs maybe, summit maybe, local dealer, local junk yard) and snag a set

watch out for your clutch cable on the fire wall on the drivers side, along with the dipstick.

watch out of the air conditioner plumbing on the passenger side.
